Invest in a public asset
Gifts to Lifestyle America Social Club Inc., a 501(c)(3) public charity, purchase a community-owned education center in the Hudson Valley and keep adult classes and family programs affordable. Donations buy a building the charity holds — not private equity.
Campaign
Hudson Valley facility — active now
Campaign name: Build Our Home. Purpose: capital acquisition of LASC-HVLC, the permanent home of The Lodge. Status: open. Platform: Zeffy, which charges LASC no platform fee so more of each gift reaches the campaign.
Give online
One-time or recurring gifts through the Zeffy form. You will receive a receipt for your records. For a gift of property, stock, or a pledged multi-year amount, email the board first so we can document it correctly.
Give time or skill
Volunteer hosts, setup crews, and presenters keep fees low. Membership application first; presenter application if you teach.
Lifestyle America Social Club Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Gifts are generally tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We do not sell donor lists. A gift does not purchase membership or a vote.
Use of Funds
Where a gift goes
Grant officers and individual donors can read the same list. If a restricted gift is required, say so in the Zeffy note or in email and we will track it that way.
| Use | What it buys |
|---|---|
| Capital — primary | Down payment, closing costs, and fit-out of a Hudson Valley education center owned by the charity (LASC-HVLC). |
| Program access | Keeps class fees at $10–$15 and member programs in the $20–$40 range so income is not the barrier. |
| Host training | Volunteer onboarding, first-aid readiness, and the people who make a hosted room possible. |
| Calendar | Four to six educational programs a month, plus Family Days and online sessions for regional members. |
| Not this campaign | Eastern Tennessee (LASC-ETMR) is a later phase. We will not raise for a second campus while the first site is still rented. |
